CBD is typically extracted from hemp, which is bred to contain minimal THC - industrial hemp, according to federal law, must contain less than 0.3 percent THC. Hemp-derived CBD products offer the properties of the entire hemp plant (CBD, additional cannabinoids, terpenes) without the presence of THC – so no associated high!

CBD interacts with receptors that run throughout your body called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS helps regulate numerous systems in your body, including your stress levels, immune system, pain perception, anti-inflammatory response, mood, and more. In short, it’s hard to feel your best if your ECS isn’t working at its best.

No, not all CBD products are created equal.

With more than 3,000 brands selling CBD products, it’s understandable to think they’re all the same. They're not. That is why we are so selective about what products we carry. We've researched for you and have selected the most effective products available.

We select CBD manufactured from US-grown hemp plants with certificates of quality. These certificates show the plants do not contain unsafe levels of contaminants. These certificates also indicate the hemp plant has no more than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Starting with better raw materials simply leads to better final products.

What kinds of CBD there?

There are three basic extract types:

Broad spectrum - Broad-spectrum CBD products are made with a broad range of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds found in hemp plants, but with essentially zero THC (the compound in marijuana that causes a high).

Full spectrum - Full-spectrum CBD products are made with the full range of cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds found in hemp plants, including up to 0.3% THC (the federally legal limit).

Isolate - These products are made with just the isolated CBD compound as the active ingredient, and no other cannabinoids from hemp. Isolate products are a way to be confident you’re getting absolutely zero THC.

CBD oil is a product with just CBD – no additional cannabinoids, terpenes, etc. Hemp oil, on the other hand, is a variable term that is often used to describe products without consistency. Hemp oil is a very broad term that may result in broad spectrum, full spectrum, or isolate products, or could just be the extracted oils from the hemp seeds, with no cannabinoids at all. This lack of consistency is what led us to research and obtain superior-quality products.
